Cleaning and Exams

On these visits we will clean your teeth and check them for tartar and cavities and other issues that might come up in the near future.  Our thorough exams include: 

• Diagnostic x-rays,(if needed) 
• Screening for oral cancer
• Checking for gum disease. 
• Checking each tooth for decay 
• Examining all previous known restorations, including crowns, fillings, implants, etc.

Dental cleanings are used to catch problems early on and prevent some problems from having the chance to develop in the first place.  Our dental cleanings include: Removing dental calculus/ tartar and plaque and teeth polishing to remove stains and other plaque buildup.
